The Story:

Sixteen year old Buffy Summers is starting her sophomore year at a new school, Sunnydale High. Besides worring about making new friends, getting caught up in her classes, or having last month's hair Buffy also has to face her destiny of being the vampire slayer, the one in girl in all the world chosen to save the world from vampires and the forces of darkness. On her first day Buffy meets and befriends Xander Harris, who develops an instant crush on her, shy and brainy Willow Rosenberg, and their friend Jesse. After choosing to spend time with the 'losers' of the school Buffy alienates herself from the popular Cordelia Chase. The school's new librarian, Rupert Giles, turns out to be her new Watcher and she meets a mysterious stranger who alerts her to the presence of a very old and powerful vampire living under the city. Buffy is forced to save her new friends after Jesse and Willow leave the local club, The Bronze, with two of the Master's minions.
