The Story:
- - Things Fall Apart - -
Spike is still trying to come to terms with the fact that Buffy doesn't love him the way her loves her. Willow and Tara decide to go for coffee and work on their relationship. Tensions run high among the Trio where it becomes obvious that Jonathan is no longer fully part of their super-cool plan. Xander and Anya for the first time since the wedding talk and it goes badly. It is revealed that Anya accepted D'Hoffryn's offer and is once again a vengeance demon. Spike and Anya sleep together after getting drunk while complaining about their partners. The whole encounter is observed by a shocked Willow, Xander, Buffy and Dawn on one of the Troika's cameras discovered earlier in Buffy's yard. Furious Xander leaves on a mission to kill Spike. Buffy stops him but Spike finally reveals their relationship to a confused Anya and Xander. While everyone else's relationships are falling apart Willow and Tara decided to get back together.

Spike: Absolutely. I have nothing but respect for a woman who is forthright. Drusilla was always straightforward. Didn't have a single buggering clue about what was going on right in front of her, but she was straight up about it. That's a virtue.

Anyanka: You think?
Spike: Please. It's no wonder they couldn't deal with the likes of you and me, Luv. We both should have been dead hundreds of years ago - and we're the only ones that are really alive.
