The Story:
- - They'll Never Know How Tough It Is To Be The One Who Isn't Chosen - -
While on a training session some of the Potentials notice the lingering connection between Spike and Buffy. Buffy tries to sort out her feelings about Spike while meeting with one of her students, Amanda. The gang receives a message that there is another Potential Slayer already living in Sunnydale. After initially deciding to forego their planned training session Andrew convinces Buffy and Spike to take the girls out while Willow preforms a locater spell to determine the identity of the new Potential. Unexpectedly, Willow's spell seems to indicate that Dawn is the girl they are looking for. Confused by her newfound destiny Dawn takes off. When she and Amanda are attacked in the high school by The First's Bringers Dawn realizes that the Potential Slayer is not her at all but Amanda instead. Xander comforts Dawn by relating his similar feelings about how the others will never know how hard it is to be the one who's not chosen.

Xander: I'll pay you to talk about Star Wars again!
