The Story:

When the chip in Spike's head malfunctions, leaving him in constant pain, Buffy becomes very concerned about his health. Kennedy, who skipped out on Giles's vision quest by claiming to be ill, pursues her interest in Willow. After Willow and Kennedy kiss Willow suddenly takes on the apperance of Warren Meers. The Scoobies begin to question if Giles is real or an apparation of the First after receiving a call from Giles's friend from England. Spike and Buffy meet up with a military unit sent by Riley Finn at the old Initiative headquarters where the General informs Buffy that she has to decide whether to have Spike's chip fixed or removed. As Willow slowly turns into Warren, Amy Madison explains to Kennedy how she placed a hex on Willow which allowed Willow's subconscious to manifest her guilt over murdering Warren after he shoot Tara and for letting the memory of Tara go by kissing someone else. Kennedy is able to break Amy's spell by kissing Willow a second time.
