The Story:

Xander works on fixing the Summer's window while the gang tries unsuccessfully to research the First Evil. Buffy receives omninous visits from her mother in her dreams. The First wearing the guise of Drusilla tortures Spike while trying to convince him to join its side for the uncoming fight. When the gang goes to the school basement to check out the Seal of Danzelthar they find the remains of the torture device the First used to raise the ubervamp and have a suspicious encounter with Pricipal Wood. Giles unexpectedly arrives at the Summer's house with a group of Potential Slayers and informs Buffy about the destruction of the Watcher's Council and the few facts he recovered on the First. Buffy's first encounter with the ubervamp, which Giles identifies as a Turok-han, nearly kills her leaving the Potentials and Scoobies wondering about her ability to protect them and fight the First.
